SJVN Limited: India’s hydropower, on film.

A corporate overview film for SJVN Limited, the Navratna power company behind hydro, thermal and renewable projects across India. Bintin Media wrote and edited the film, weaving leadership interviews with drone footage of project sites and the people who build them.

The brief

One film for a company of many projects.

SJVN runs power projects across hydro, thermal, solar and wind, from its headquarters in Shimla to sites in several states. The film had to introduce the whole company clearly — to investors, partners, new employees and the public — in a single, well-paced story.

We built the script around the people who lead SJVN and the places where its work happens. Interviews with the Chairman and the Directors run alongside drone shots of barrages and river valleys, tunnel and construction footage, and close-ups of engineers and workers on site. 3D motion graphics explain how a hydro project works, and key figures appear as clean on-screen graphics so the numbers stay easy to follow.
